~ Who do you think Jesus is?
The Bible says:
"...he asked. 'Who do you say I am?' Simon Peter answered, 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.'" [Matthew 16:13-16]
~ Do you believe a heaven or hell exists?
Jesus said:
Heaven: "In my Father's house are many rooms...I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. ..." [John 14:2-3]
Hell: Matthew 5:30, 10:28, 23:33; Luke 12:5, 16:23
~ If you died tonight where would you go?
Heaven? Hell?
Why should you be allowed into Heaven? The Bible says:
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." [Romans 3:23]
"There is no one that is perfect." [Romans 3:12]
What does this mean to me? Everyone has sinned. So what does that affect?
"The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through the Lord Jesus Christ." [Romans 6:23]
What does this mean to me? My sins have eternally separated me from God. But...
"I tell you the truth, unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." [John 3:3]
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." [John 14:6]
What does this mean to me? Jesus came to die for all sin, and offers the only way to correct our relationship with God.
So what do I have to do to recieve this forgiveness?
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." [1 John 1:9]
